Collaborative Project with Emeco
Loop is designed with Emeco's design DNA in mind: gently curved extruded aluminum and a contoured seat. The sparseness of the frame highlights the seat material, which is one of the focal points of the project. Furniture companies and upholstery businesses can generate a lot of fabric waste, some of which is too small to be reused. Fabric waste can be shredded and used to create a composite material for Emeco's seats. The seat is shown here in a a variety of solid wood and composites.
The frame comes in either square or round 1-inch tubing and can be matte or polished. The cantilevered seat back is shown in three different configurations: open, solid or mesh.
